J-Mount's one of a kind Montana touring mount
The newest j-mount product features an all new look with weight savings in mind, mount only weight is 250 grams. utilizing the same patent as the single etrex super light the Montana J-Mount is manufactured with a inner support plastic cage like part and then fully encapsulated in silicone giving a rigid soft silicone feel to the mount. this also means that you can still remove your gps with no tools needed by only stretching the silicone open over your device like previous J-Mounts
this new lightweight and beautiful design is achieved by thin plastic inner walls and although they have flex they also will eventually break with excessive use and force, but due to it being encapsulated the mount still works perfectly and you should not be alarmed. the small breaks in your plastic cage will not effect the aesthetic or utility of the mount at all and will still work the same as new
this mount is specifically designed for touring and long distance travels but will work perfectly on any other terrain as it was tested on all. please Note the design will not withstand a crash as the lightweight materials are no match for a 100+ kg motor bike but due to the nature of the mount it will still be in functional working condition with minor crashes.
